Le romantisme était certainement l'une des tendances les plus exploitées dans ce défilé. Les tissus légers, la transparence, tous les éléments y étaient pour que le défilé dégage de la féminité. À mon grand bonheur, il y avait aussi des bottes cuissardes dont je n'ai certainement pas hâte de me débarrasser. Toutefois, parmi ces vagues de féminité, John Galliano n'a certainement pas ignoré le côté à la garçonne, laissant de la place aux pantalons en cuir, aux bottes équestres et aux vestons aux coupes géométriques. Le défilé était en conséquent un parallèle constant entre le monde féminin et masculin.
Ruffles, lingerie, draping, all the elements were there to make this runway a very feminine one. I was very happy as well to see that the over-the-knee boots were still a big part of it as I'm certainly not ready to stop wearing them. However, even with all of those feminine touches, John Galliano kept a place for the à la garçonne trend with some leather pants, equestrian boots and geometric jackets. In the end, the runway was a constant parallel between the feminine and masculine world.
